Changes made

These are done and highlighted in yellow on the preview. Tick each one off as you review it.

Home page
DoneThe client quote in the middle of the page
The quote now shows a visible " … " where words were skipped, so it reads exactly as your client wrote it. Honesty first.
DoneMeet Kim section
"learning that actually performs""learning that performs"
DoneWhat changes section
"Not advice. Delivery. That's the difference.""You end up with the thing built, working, and yours."
DoneLet’s talk section at the bottom
"25 minutes with Kim. Free. No pitch deck. Just honesty.""30 minutes with Kim. Free, no pitch deck, honest answers." (every other page already said 30 minutes; see decision 4 below if 25 is the real offer)
DoneThe levy statistic
"£800m levy returned to Treasury""Up to £800m" (the source gives an estimated range, so the site now says so)
About page
DoneThe team section
Rob Bennett HonFIED added to the team (STEM Engagement & Outreach), with his photo and a short bio condensed from the text supplied, including the 2025 Colin Ledsome Award.
DoneGraham Lewis testimonial
Restored word-for-word to what Graham wrote. One word had been quietly edited out of his quote; testimonials on the site are now exactly as given.
DoneHero introduction
"Turns out that's not a weakness. It's the thing that lets her see what specialists miss.""It means she catches what specialists miss."
Education page
DoneStats panel
"This is a really big problem!""This is a big problem." (same line, minus the filler word and the exclamation mark)
DoneLearner Success pricing
"Bespoke in-house delivery""In-house delivery" (bespoke is on your own avoid list)
DoneLearner Success price ranges
The dashes in £2,000-£3,500 and £750-£1,500 are now plain hyphens, finishing the dash sweep from the last round.
DoneKnowledge Test panel
The panel intro and its expanded text no longer open with the same sentence, and "robust" (twice) is replaced with plainer words that say what it means.
DoneThe levy statistic
"£800m""Up to £800m"
DoneBehind the scenes
The full service catalogue with your confirmed prices is now published in the page’s structured data, the machine-readable layer Google and AI assistants read. Nothing visible changes; it makes your fixed pricing quotable by AI answers.
Service pages (curriculum design, workshop content, portfolio marking)
DoneRepeated sentences
Each page’s opening line no longer repeats word-for-word further down the page, and the two closing boxes no longer match each other exactly.
DoneWorkshop content wording
"portfolio evidence that actually meets the grade; not just describing what they did""portfolio evidence that meets the grade, rather than describing what they did"
DonePortfolio marking wording
"or simply free up your team""or free up your team"
DoneBehind the scenes
Each service page now tells Google it is its own page (previously they all pointed at the main education page, which told search engines not to list them), and each carries its own price schema and breadcrumb trail.
Strategy page
DonePull quote
"Action without direction is just exhaustion with extra steps.""Action without direction is exhaustion with extra steps."
DoneClosing section
"Not overnight, but properly.""It takes longer than a quick fix, and it holds."
DoneTestimonial heading
The heading no longer duplicates the About page’s "The most honest thing on any consultancy website." It now reads "A client said it better than we could."
Contact page
DoneAnswer 03
"No awkward pitch. No 'let me send you some options.' Just a straight answer.""If we can't, we'll say so. A straight answer, with no awkward pitch at the end."
DoneAnswer 02
Reworded so it no longer duplicates a line from the How We Work page, and the page gains one longer, flowing sentence so it doesn’t read as all short jabs.
Insights
DoneFooter note
"we'd genuinely like to hear it" is now "we'd like to hear it", and "Or just email:" is "Or email:" (here and on every article page).
DoneTwo published articles: word-level tidy
The KSBs article loses five filler words and one metaphor; the levy article’s "the genuinely new bit" heading becomes "the new bit". Nothing else in either article changed.
Two NEW articles by Kim
DoneWriting Your Apprenticeship Portfolio in Word
Kim’s article, edited to the site’s copy rules with her argument and examples untouched, retitled to include what people search for, with an FAQ section at the bottom. Find it under Insights, or via jump button 23 in the review panel.
DoneWhy Apprentices Disengage by Month Six, and the Induction That Prevents It
Kim’s second article, same treatment. Her original title ("Agency, Ownership, and Engagement...") lives on as the section heading inside. See decision 8 about the Miro workshop mention.
DoneBoth articles
FAQ sections carry proper FAQ structured data, so the questions are eligible to appear directly in Google results and AI answers.
Site-wide
DoneAI assistant briefing file
The site’s llms.txt (the file AI assistants read for facts) now carries your full current package matrix and prices, replacing the launch-era version that pre-dated the pricing updates.
Section 02

Needs your decision

We've held these rather than guess. A quick answer on each unblocks the rest.

Decided 1 · The “Only 32% feel prepared” statistic

Stays as is (Aaron, 21 July). If you can point us at where the figure comes from, we’ll add the citation; no action needed otherwise.

Decide 2 · The portfolio marking page

In the last round you asked us to consider dropping marking & feedback from the education page. We did, but the marking page itself still exists with nothing linking to it.

Keep it (we’ll link it back from the education page), or retire it?

Decide 3 · The strategy page

It’s out of the menu but still live, while the How We Work page still mentions strategy services.

Is strategy work still on the menu? If retired we’ll redirect the page; if not we’ll link it back up.

Decide 4 · 25 or 30 minutes?

The homepage said the free call is 25 minutes; every other page says 30. We’ve standardised on 30 across the site.

If the call is meant to be 25 minutes, say so and we’ll flip all of them the other way.

Check 5 · “Thought leadership”

The phrase appears three times, always in quote marks as something you don’t do. It’s on your own avoid list, so flagging rather than deciding for you.

Happy keeping it as a deliberate dig, or shall we drop it?

Check 6 · “The 60 hours it takes”

The education page says a scheme of work takes 60 hours; your published article says “weeks of concentrated work”. No source on file for 60.

Is 60 hours right? If unsure we’ll align the wording with the article.

Check 7 · 97% retention and 23 UK cities

Both stats are live on the homepage and you reviewed that block last round, but we hold no written source for either.

Can you confirm both in writing (or give us the source) so the file is complete?

Check 8 · The Miro workshop in Kim’s new article

The induction article says “The Miro board workshop is designed to be delivered by you or your team, or we can run it for you”, but the education page doesn’t list an induction workshop.

Shall we add it to the education page, or point the article’s closing line at the existing Learner Success workshops instead?

Section 03

Wording standardised

Site-wide wording rules.

em and en dashesplain punctuation
Your no-dashes rule from the last round is now fully enforced; the two survivors on the education page were the last.
filler words (actually, really, genuinely, just, simply...)removed
24 instances swept site-wide per your banned-words list. Words inside verbatim testimonials are never touched.
Section 04

Notes & flags

The review panel. Every page on the preview carries a panel on the left with one numbered button per change; each button jumps straight to its yellow highlight. The toggle hides the yellow if you want to read the site clean. Both the panel and the highlights are temporary and come off before anything goes live.

How We Work was deliberately left alone. Our fresh copy audit scored it the strongest page on the site; its punchy lines are quoted from your own brief.

Repetition thinned, voice kept. The audit found the same rhetorical punch ("No X. No Y. Just Z.") closing sections on six pages. We kept the best instance per page-type ("We don’t advise. We build." stays exactly as it is) and said the rest straight. If any rewritten line reads wrong to you, tell us which.

Kim’s two articles. Published under her byline with her arguments intact; our edit removed AI-style constructions and filler per the site’s copy rules. The originals are kept on file unchanged.
